Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2 October 2026
This policy covers the Hostlelo Blog at blog.hostlelo.com. It does not cover your Hostlelo hosting account, the client area, or the main website. Those are covered by the Hostlelo Privacy Policy.
The short version
- The blog has no accounts, no comments, no newsletter form and no contact form.
- At the time of this update the blog sets no cookies and loads no analytics, advertising or other third-party scripts.
- The one thing you can type into is the article search box.
- Like every website, the blog receives basic technical details each time a page is requested. Details are below.
Who publishes this blog
Hostlelo Blog is published by Hostlelo. Hostlelo operates through three registered entities: Hostlelo LTD (United Kingdom), Hostlelo Information Technology LLC (United Arab Emirates) and Hostlelo Digital Private Limited (India). Addresses and phone numbers are on the official Hostlelo contact page.
What the blog receives
Server logs. When you open a page, the blog is delivered by our hosting provider, Vercel. Vercel receives your IP address, browser type, the address you asked for and the time of the request. This is routine, and it is needed to deliver pages, keep the site running and protect it from abuse. Article images load from a Vercel storage address, so the same applies to them.
Search. If you use the search box, the words you type become part of the page address (for example /articles/?q=your words). Like any other address, it can appear in server logs.
The blog does not ask for your name, email address, phone number or payment details anywhere. Please do not send those through the search box.
Cookies and tracking
At the time of this update the blog sets no cookies and runs no analytics, advertising or behavioural tracking. If that changes, this page will be updated to say what was added and why.
Share buttons
The WhatsApp, Telegram, X, LinkedIn, Facebook and email buttons under each article are ordinary links. Nothing is sent to those services until you click one, and after that their own privacy policies apply. The links we create carry three tags (utm_source, utm_medium and utm_campaign) that name the network a link was shared from. They do not identify you. The Copy link and Share buttons work inside your browser.
Links to other websites
Articles link to vendor documentation, standards bodies and other sites. Those sites have their own privacy practices, and we do not control them.
Your choices and requests
You can read everything on this blog without giving us any personal information. If you want to ask what we hold about you, or ask for a correction or deletion, email support@hostlelo.com. For account, billing, domain or hosting data, the Hostlelo Privacy Policy lists your rights and how to use them.
Children
The blog is written for people who build and run websites. It is not aimed at children.
Changes to this policy
We will change this page when the blog's behaviour changes, and the date at the top will show when. Please check it from time to time.
